Every coach, DBS-checked. No exceptions.
Nine ECB-qualified coaches, each with a defined specialism. Every coach on this page holds an enhanced DBS certificate, current safeguarding training and paediatric first aid — details on our full policy are on the Parent Hub.
J. Hargreaves
Leads Lane 01 and the pitch-tracking programme. Former league pace bowler, now specialising in load management and action remodelling for junior quicks — the coach most parents of fast bowlers ask for by name.
M. O'Donnell
Runs the multi-camera batting lane and most 1-to-1 Pro Analytics sessions. Focused on top-order technique and shot selection under pressure, with a particular interest in rebuilding technique after injury layoffs.
R. Khan
Leads the Senior Elite & Club Cricketer Development pathway. Specialises in flight, drift and reading a batter's intent — sessions run around real matchplay scenarios drawn from the Lancashire League fixture list.
S. Walsh
Owns the Junior Academy pathway end to end — the coach most parents meet first. Background in primary PE coordination before moving into performance cricket; builds every U9–U16 session as a game, not a drill.
A. Patel
Runs Lane 06 — reaction-light drills, keeping stance and catching cages. Often the difference between a player who fields as a formality and one who saves 15 runs a match.
L. Fielding
Works across all pathways on age-appropriate movement prep and injury prevention — particularly load monitoring for junior fast bowlers alongside J. Hargreaves.
Three further Level 3 coaches rotate across group and holiday-camp sessions; every parent is told who is coaching their child's session in advance through the Parent Portal.
